[PADS] Some issues using FIPS on the Libretto 100 from last meeting

OK. So I finally got all the extraneous files off the HD of the Libretto,
and did a defrag of the disk. We should now be at the point of using FIPS to
resize the partition, to make room for the Linux partition that we will
eventually use LOADLIN to boot.

Anyways, FIPS is reporting=20

"Error: Unknown file system: 0Eh"

"Only DOS partitions can be split (system indicator byte must be 4 or 6)"

A bit of googling indicates that this is a problem with drives formatted as
FAT32. Yet DOS FDISK says that the type is FAT16.

FIPS v2, the one included on the Woody CDs.

I used to have an old version of Partition Magic somewhere, so if all else
fails, I might be able to make PM boot disks and resize using that. But it
just seems odd, that FIPS won't work.=20

Thoughts, anyone?
